I don't know how well A Christmas Tale would be in putting one into the Christmas spirit...but I certainly can't wait to see it again.

So jealous that you got the see A Christmas Tale last year! I wanted to see it so bad but Jared wouldn't go see with me it at the Art Museum the day after Christmas b/c, according to him, "Christmas season is over" on Dec 25. He had had enough at that point. Poo poo on him!!! I kind of threw I hissy fit b/c I wanted to see it so bad, but I wasn't going to go see it by myself. Now I have to wait to see it until after Thanksgiving this year in order to actually be in the Christmas spirit. Mleh on that! (clearly I'm not bitter). It probably would have been my favorite film of last year, too.

Dr. Strangelove... easily in my top 10 or 20 films of all time. (I really don't think I can narrow my "top" list down to less than 20 at this point). My absolute favorite part is when George C. Scott falls down ridiculously (completely unscripted and unintentional) and gets right back up and continues with the scene. Jared and I probably rewound and re-watched that part about 10 times in one sitting laughing hysterically a few years back. Also, Kubrick was a total perv (huge surprise, I know). That movie is chock full of sexual innuendos, both glaringly obvious and extremely subtle. LOVE IT.
